Vancouver Veggi Pizza

We have been ordering from Vancouver Veggi Pizza for a few times now since my friend mentioned it to us. Their big selling points for them are of course all vegetarian pizzas and that they use cheese without rennet. They also have specialty pizzas that are pretty cool like their paneer special. So one large pizza is $14 and the 2 for 1 deal is two large pizzas for $25. So far we are pretty happy with their pizzas. We have tried all the pizzas and have ordered Canadian pizza the most. I'm hoping to try the veggie burger sometimes in the future too :)

Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company

Lunch with a few old coworkers in Kitsilano a while back. It was a pretty nice day so we walked all the way from Broadway to W1st Ave. They are always so thoughtful when I'm joining for lunch, they would always look up where is veggie friendly for me :) 

 

It was pretty busy when we got there, maybe sometime before 1. We didn't wait too long, but by the time we ordered and waited for the food, the restaurant pretty much emptied up.

There are 4 kinds of veggie pizza on the menu, with 4 of us, we decided just to get all 4 :) It worked out great.

 

We were all pretty full after. Three guys and one girl, and I'm pretty sure I ate as much as the guys :P I'm trying to remember which one was my favourite but I think I enjoyed all of them, even though some were definitely more flavourful than others. I did remember the one with artichokes slightly more though, it's just because i like artichokes, hehe. I will for sure go back again in the future :)

So I'm continuing on with posts from my trip to Asia early last year. It's been an year already... need to get them done.

Eighth day in Taiwan, we met up with friend's family for dinner that night. They picked a veggie restaurant not too far away from my place - Veggie Wonderland.

Day 5 was pretty cultured day.

Breakfast started out at Cipriani, right across from Grand Central. I used to pass by it too, but never tried it. I was quite excited to have a chance this time.

Taiwan Trip - Part IV

December 31, last day of 2010, I was busy trying out some outfits all afternoon for a photo shoot in a couple days. My friend from Vancouver just happened to be in Taiwan for her Christmas break as well. This was the first time we met up in Taiwan, it was pretty cool. Before the nights ended, dinner was a must before she headed home that night. It was windy and cold outside that we didn't want to spend time picking places to eat, so we just went into a random restaurant close by. We looked through the menu and they had a couple vegetarian dishes on there and that was good enough for us.

Last minute decision to join another group of coworkers for lunch, all I heard was 'pizza, let's go' and we were off. The whole time walking there on Pender Street I was thinking that we were going to go to one of the cheap pizza places for a quick bite. After we passed by a couple of them, I started to wonder where we were heading, then we stopped in front of Goldies.

We were blessed with such wonderful weather the whole week last week it was unbelievable. We took advantage of the great weather and went by two beaches on Saturday. First we cycled to UBC in the afternoon. Then in the early evening, our friends came pick us up to go to Kitsilano.
