Last time we went to Bowen Island was a few years ago in the summer time and we were lucky enough to have the chance to camp at a friend's backyard hill. It was definitely a great experience. This time it's an one day trip to Bowen on a cloudy spring day to visit two other friends who have recently moved there :) They asked us to meeting them for lunch at Artisan Eats. When we got off the ferry, we saw a board on the side of the street that says Artisan Eats so we pulled over and parked at a lot near by. As soon we walked over to the board, we realized it's just an ad board that tells you where the restaurant is located :P So we got back in the car and drove up the hill to Artisan Square where the restaurant really is. After talking to our friends, it turns out the restaurant the ad board was placed outside of is called Tuscany and the owner owns both the Artisan Eats and Tuscany, which explained why the ad board was there. We ended up ordering a bit more than we needed to eat :P but it was good to try a bit of everything I wanted to eat.

Veggie Omelette |
Veggie omelette with goat cheese.

Potato Soup and Tofu Stick |
Great potato soup and the tofu stick is separately ordered. It comes with its own sauce too, the stick is very good, something different to try! :)

Veggie Sandwich |
We really enjoyed the food there. Yummy and very fresh :) Even though we were stuffed after we managed to finish all the food, we didn't feel any discomfort at all. The service is friendly and it gets packed fast but it's understandable why. I would for sure come back here again the next time I'm back on the island :)
After visiting our friends' new house, we had a driving tour around the area and went for a little walk to the beach close by ^___^
