This is another post I should have gotten to long ago :P Panz Veggie Restaurant is one of the vegetarian Chinese restaurants in Vancouver. My friends have told me about it when it first opened up but it took me a while to finally go and try it out. Having said that, that happened a long time ago too and I can't really remember when exactly it was, could have been early last year or even longer ago... I know I know... but I think I should still get it up because I want to get as much posts on vegetarian restaurants in Vancouver up as possible.
Panz outside
Inside
A table for 4
Menu
Brown Rice
Soup - (sorry can't remember if the soup came with the meal or we ordered that separately...)
I think this is the 'Laughing Tiger' on the menu.
Deep Fried Wonton
Sorry I don't remember the names of the other two dishes, this one is with cabbage and the other one with mushroom
Overall we thought the food was decent and service was good even though there was just one server and the owner when we were there. Only thing was that we didn't feel like we had enough food between the 4 of us, 2 guys and 2 girls. We thought the portions were just okay, but I guess we could have just ordered more. Hopefully we'll get a chance to go back there again soon.

Got a chance to visit Panz again with my old coworkers a few weeks back. I was looking at their lunch menu online (http://www.panzveggie.com/menu.html) and thought it would be nice to try it out since it looks like a good dea. Everyone was on board with a veggie lunch so off we went. They have the lunch menu printed on a piece of paper. I'm not sure if it changes everyday or if they're the same as the ones they have online, but I think they're close enough anyways. We ordered 4 different kinds out of the 5 of us, since I wanted the same thing as one of my firneds. I missed the picture of the Buddha's Feast one of us ordered. It's stir fried veggies since he can't have anything gluten, it was the choice he went with. He said he really liked it.
Double Wok with steamed rice
I think this is Satay Glutens(or bean curds)... I don't remember the exact name of it, sorry.
This is my Tangy Sweet and Sour Soya Ribs
I liked my dish a lot too, my craving for sweet and sour was fulfilled. The friend who ordered the same thing thought the sauce was too sweet but it went well with the chow mein. The owner came to asked if we enjoyed our meals and even offered us more chow mein or more steamed rice for free. So the friend got one more portion of chow mein and finished up all his sweet and sour sauce :) It was very nice of the owner. We'll definitely come back again for lunch sometimes.
